Letters of Recommendation

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to enthusiastically recommend Whitney, who served as our babysitter and nanny for approximately nine months. Throughout her time with us, Whitney proved to be an invaluable asset to our family.

Whitney is exceptionally punctual, consistently arriving on time and ready to engage with our child. Her reliability was a significant factor in our peace of mind, knowing that we could count on her to follow through on her commitments.

What truly sets Whitney apart is her proactive approach to maintaining a tidy environment. She always made sure to clean up after playtime, teaching our child the importance of responsibility and organization. This not only kept our home orderly but also instilled positive habits in our child.

Communication is another of Whitney’s strengths. She is always upfront and honest, which fosters a sense of trust and openness. Whether discussing our child’s daily activities or any concerns that arose, Whitney communicated effectively, ensuring that we were always on the same page.

Moreover, Whitney is incredibly thoughtful, often going the extra mile to engage with our child in meaningful ways. Her ability to connect and create a nurturing environment made a significant difference in our child's happiness and development.

In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Whitney for any babysitting or nannying position. Her punctuality, cleaning habits, communication skills, and thoughtfulness make her an outstanding choice for any family.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need further information.

Sincerely,

Ariella Abrams

Dear Whitney,

I can't express how grateful we are for all you have done to help us so smoothly navigate the transition to a family of four (Dog says five!).

It's a bit of a strange thing to hand off your baby to someone at a week old, but from the moment we met you, you embodied kindness, knowledge and such a great skill at taking care of these precious little ones. We are so fortunate that you ended up in Charleston right when you did - truly it has been such a blessing.

It means the world that I could rest easy, and have such a warm and confidence-instilling teammate to get us through the night. It means so much that your aid empowered me to be a better mom to both newborn and toddler during this transition and enabled me to bring my best self to the table.

Thank you for all that you have done for our family and for being such a sweet caregiver for X. It has been such a pleasure to get to know you and we hope to see you again soon.

Many thanks,

G Family

Dear Whitney,

You are amazing. Kunaal and I were just saying that your bedside manner is unmatched. X had his Pepcid and a few more sips and is now soundly asleep in the Snoo!

Thank you so much!

To Whom It May Concern,

I am joyfully writing this strong letter of recommendation for Ms. Whitney Mead! First and foremost, my four children absolutely adore and truly love Whitney! Personally, that specific fact, says everything you need to know. To explain, Whitney has been a full time nanny, part time nanny, and the first person we call when we are in a pinch, with our childcare needs. My wife and I have known Whitney for over twelve years. She has guided, cared for, and loved all four of our kids since infancy.

Over the years, Whitney continues to amaze me with her heart of gold and willingness to put both my children and other youngsters above herself. She is kind, respectful, and has the ability to provide the perfect environment while my wife and I are away from our children. All four of my little ones are beyond excited when we announce that Whitney will be coming over to our house!

I would be happy to speak further about Ms. Whitney Mead. Please feel free to contact directly with any questions. My direct phone number is (904)-562-8073. I would advise whoever reads this letter to put their trust and faith in Whitney and her abilities.

Respectfully yours,

Dr. Andrew K. Bartell

To Whom It May Concern,

It is my great pleasure to write this letter of reference for Ms. Whitney Mead. Whitney cared for our son, Matthew, from the time he was less than two months old until he began VPK at fouryears of age . During those formative years, Whitney played a vital role in Matthew’s growth, development, and happiness.

As two physicians with demanding and often unpredictable schedules, my wife Sara and I relied heavily on Whitney’s flexibility and dependability. She consistently adapted to our needs with professionalism and grace, giving us peace of mind knowing our son was in excellent hands.

Whitney went above and beyond in her role as a nanny. She provided not only daily care but also enrichment—constantly seeking out new, engaging, and typically educational activities for Matthew. She organized play dates, explored unique opportunities within our community that even we were unaware of, and fostered friendships for Matthew that helped him develop an active social life despite being the only young child in our neighborhood.

What has impressed us most is the enduring bond she has formed with our family. Even after her time as Matthew’s nanny came to a close, Whitney has remained a cherished part of his life. She has continued to join us for birthdays and family gatherings and has been available as a trusted sitter. At eight years old, nearly four years after she stopped working with us, Matthew still talks about Whitney often and eagerly looks forward to her visits.

We wholeheartedly recommend Whitney for any childcare or nanny role. She has demonstrated exceptional skill in caring for infants through preschool-aged children, and her warmth, creativity, and reliability are unmatched. Any family fortunate enough to have her will quickly discover, as we did, that she is not only a wonderful caregiver but also a lasting positive influence in a child’slife.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to myself (jason@largens.com, 904-616-6908) or Sara (sara@largens.com, 904-718-3371) for any questions or as a reference.

Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern,

It is difficult to put into words just how much Whitney has meant to our family during one of the most important seasons of our lives.

From the moment we first spoke on the phone, I knew she would be the perfect fit for our son. She was warm, knowledgeable, reassuring, and immediately put me at ease. As first-time parents, we had countless questions and uncertainties, but Whitney brought a sense of calm confidence that made us feel supported from the very beginning.

Whitney initially joined our family as our overnight postpartum doula, and quite honestly, she saved us. My greatest fear entering postpartum was severe sleep deprivation, and thanks to Whitney, I never experienced it. Knowing that our newborn son was in such capable and loving hands allowed me to rest, recover, and be fully present during those precious early months.

Her expertise with newborns is remarkable. I remember one evening when our son was completely inconsolable. We had tried everything we could think of, and the moment Whitney walked through the door, she calmly assessed the situation and knew exactly what to do. Within minutes, he was settled. Time and time again, she brought that same combination of intuition, experience, and steadiness into our home.

What makes Whitney truly exceptional, however, is that she cares not only for babies but for parents as well. During those vulnerable postpartum weeks, she wrote me the sweetest note filled with exactly the words I needed to hear. It was such a simple gesture, yet one I will never forget. She made me feel supported not just as a mother, but as a person. She has a gift for knowing when someone needs encouragement and offering it with genuine kindness.

Whitney is reliable, flexible, endlessly patient, and always professional. She was consistently on time (often early), never made us feel like any question was too small, and helped us build confidence in ourselves as parents. Rather than creating dependence, she empowered us to trust our instincts and find our footing as a new family.

Over time, Whitney became so much more than our postpartum doula. She became someone we genuinely care about and consider a friend. Now that our son sleeps through the night, she occasionally babysits for us, and one of my favorite things is seeing his face light up when she arrives. He absolutely adores her, and I believe that says everything. Children know when they are deeply loved, and our son has always felt loved by Whitney.

When I look back on those first months with our baby, Whitney is woven into some of our most cherished memories. Of all the products, gadgets, and things people tell you to buy for a new baby, hiring Whitney was by far the best investment we made—not only for our son, but for ourselves. Her care, support, wisdom, and kindness shaped our postpartum experience in ways I will always be grateful for.

I recommend Whitney wholeheartedly and without reservation. Any family fortunate enough to work with her will be receiving far more than a postpartum doula. They will be gaining a trusted guide, a compassionate support system, and someone who truly loves and honors the families she serves.

With deep gratitude,

Kate Nardi Miliotis

To Whom It May Concern,

It is my pleasure to write this letter of reference in regards to Whitney Mead. Whitney became part of our family when she helped take care of my children from August 2012 to June 2014. She worked full days for our family taking care of my children, who were ages 2 and 5 at the time she started working for us. Her responsibilities included spending the day with my daughter and taking care of all her needs including preparation of lunches and then picking up my son when he was done with school and watching both children during the afternoon hours.

Whitney was extremely reliable and rarely missed work for any reason. She was very punctual andengaging with my children. My children enjoyed the time spent with her. She continues to visit the children several years later attending their baseball games and dance recitals.

Please feel free to contact me at (904) 874-4783 if you would like to further discuss anything.

Warmest Regards,

Dawn Dorsey
