Whitney Mead

FOUNDER

Whitney Mead is a Certified Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist with over 20 years of experience caring for children and supporting families.

After a long career as a nanny, she shifted her focus to postpartum care, where she could better support families during the earliest and most vulnerable weeks after bringing home a baby. Her work goes beyond newborn care - she provides emotional, physical, and educational support to help parents feel more rested, confident, and supported.

Through Sun to the Soul, Whitney offers a calm, compassionate presence and personalized care for each family she works with. Whitney provides quality care & support to all families, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, relationship status, disability, religion, race, or birthing choices. She serves families in Charleston, South Carolina, Jacksonville, Florida, and beyond and is proud to support all families with inclusive care.
